About Me

Ever since I was little I have loved stories. My sister and I would create daring adventures for our toys. As time went on I became an avid reader, and when my sister began writing her own short stories I jumped at the chance to help her.

My book began with an attempt to take all the ideas that had run rampant in my head for years and create a story that was everything I had been searching for in a book. and it may or may not have also been prompted by the fact my sister wouldn't listen to all my ideas for her stories. Although my book may have been spired on by petty sisterly revenge, I can not be more grateful to my sister that she didn't take my suggestions. She helped me create what has become my passion and my dream for the future. She listens to my raw new messy ideas and she is my biggest cheerleader.

This one story has bloomed into something so much more than I ever expected. The places, histories, and cultures that have burst onto the page surprise and delight me every day, and the world that has formed is more beautiful and more detailed than I ever thought it could be. The characters have somehow morphed into close friends, and reflect deep parts of myself in a way I never intended, but am deeply grateful for. Most of all however the message behind this story gives me hope for the future and our world. It's message of unconditional love, expectance, loving oneself, and appreciating the differences in one another as strengths makes me eternally grateful that I get to share that message through a beautifully orchestrated story.

Every time I sit down to grow and share this world, it feels less like its being created and more like God handed me the keys and I'm just Lucy walking into Narnia and I get to write a book about it.

Discovering this story, this world, and these people, has been the adventure of a lifetime, I truly believe that God can use this series to better our world, and I cannot wait for the adventure ahead.
