During the early stages of creating my book I ran into the issue of seeing my world on a larger scale. I needed to know where kingdoms and landmarks were in relation to each other. Not only to imagine the world more clearly in my mind, but to lay out a route through the kingdoms for my main characters to travel during her journey, to create realistic history, with battles and wars in correlation to the proximity between kingdoms, and much more. Therefore I drew my world and placed everything to the best of my ability were it would be according to it's ecosystem.
